BIOGRAPHY

Akayleeya Kennebrew was born November 10, 1987 in Augusta, GA. Her childhood was normal including participating in sports, playing video games, and playing with friends. However, her normal life suddenly changed when she discovered a lump on neck which was later diagnosed as cancer. By the grace of God she entered into remission after two years of treatment! Akayleeya started her spiritual journey under the leadership and guidance of the late Pastor Andrea Simpkins and New Jersusalem Apostolic Holiness Ministires, Inc (now New Jerusalem Ministries) in Augusta, GA. It was there where she received the gift of the holy ghost and not long after began preaching the gospel at the age of 16. During this time, she has also held the position as Musician and Praise Team leader; worked faithfully with VBS, several fund raisers, and any and everything her hands saw fit to do. She does not mind letting her light shine where ever she goes. In high school a friend of hers introduced her to FL studio. From that point on she began writing, producing and recording music in her bedroom using a $20 microphone.
While attending pharmacy school (2012-2016), the Lord led her to join God’s Grace Ministries in Laurens, SC under the leadership of Pastor Harry & Rhonda Speaks. It was there that her musical gift florished. Her Pastor encouraged her to professionally record music but she ran from that call until December 31, 2021. God called her to release His sound to the world!
